PRINCE: THE BALLAD OF DOROTHY PARKER (KING MOST 90’S R&B REDIRECTION)
One of my favorite tracks from the amazing “Sign “O” The Times” album by The Purple One. I wanted to give it a more dance floor friendly energy, so why not pretend to make it sound like it was remixed in a similar era. Threw in a lot of the “go-to” samples from that time period (Impeach The President, Mountain, Top Billin’, and of course Bobby Byrd/James Brown)
